Energy shifts, moves, morphs. Always in flux. Same goes for us.
We have internal batteries. Our spirit or our core is a reservoir for energy. But some of us recharge around people and some of us require stepping away to regain energy.
Extrovert, ambivert, introvert.
Where do you fall on the spectrum?
Do you recharge around people or on your own? There is no good or bad answer to this. I’m a very social introvert who loves to engage deeply but must have adequate alone time.
Notice as you go through the day what your experience is in your body and then your mind as you relate to people. See what stimulates you, what depletes you, and what brings balance.
How can you be kinder and gentler to yourself when you feel like you are wiped out? Or when you are charged up and ready to go, but your friends are slinking home for a nap or hiding in the bathroom stall?
As you develop more awareness of this in yourself, you’ll find you can be more generous to others for the way they are wired.
